Most Disliked

Noise can sometimes be an issue during peak hours, particularly on busy Sundays. While the lively atmosphere reflects its popularity, some diners find it a bit overwhelming. Additionally, although the café is generally dog-friendly, dogs are not allowed in the conservatory, which may disappoint those who prefer to dine with their pets in this beautiful setting.

Some customers have noted that the menu can be quite extensive, making it a little daunting for first-time visitors. This complexity might lead to indecision, but it also showcases the breadth of options available. A few diners also pointed out the occasional long wait during peak dining times, suggesting that reservations are highly beneficial.

Lovely food - my salmon salad was very generous in size, and very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. I didn't have a cake but they looked amazing, and got good reviews from others with me. Good coffee. Dog friendly inside the main cafe area but not in the conservatory part. The conservatory has lovely views out over the lake. Would recommend!

The quality of food here is fabulous, cooked to perfection and the servers are very friendly and chatty! Can be a bit noisy however that a huge positive, as to just how popular this place is. Always best to book a table in advance! There's some great views of the ponds, you can see folks fishing and even catch a glimpse of the fish jumping for flies. Will definitely be back.

This was my first time here. I had not idea about it. It is such a lovely setting. The menu is quite big and the food we ordered was all great. I had a Philly cheesesteak. There are lots of cakes to choose from at the entrance. Out the back is lovely sitting area with a view across the lake. Staff were very kind and helpful.

This is an amazing little cafe! Well worth a visit. It sits a little way back from the main road but its an excellent find. Located next to a beautiful little fishery, the cafe is a good size and boasts a conservatory area and veranda where you can watch the fishermen at work. The food is incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
